Yes mate, you need a resister fitting to the rear lights, its not a bulb out its because the rear lights on the 2010 model run a lot lower voltage, i bought mine with the resistor already fitted, pete at bell autos might be able to help you out though |

A resistor has to be fitted. On e bay, you will see that some RRS rear led lights come with resistors, and slightly cheaper ones do not.

Do a search on site Poolie dead easy to fit resistors. Put lights on mine recently. Not at home at moment but will find where I got them from let you know.

Not quite right - because the 2010 lights are LED they do not consume the current of traditional filament bulbs. The body controller sees the (very) small current the LEDs use and assumes that it is seeing a blown bulb. They do still flash at the normal rate outside, it's just the dash warning which is at double rate. There is also information on DISCO3.CO.UK referring to installing D4 lights on D3s which does the same Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support! |

check all small sockets on the light my left hand side flashed fast found a cable came off the clip put back on now all fine

Hi Poolie the resistors fit to cables 1 and 5 Right hand blue/brown and brown Left hand blue/green and brown.

Hi mate connected lights as you said to 1 and 5 on both sides still not working checked the colour of wires mine are black instead of brown and purple and green instead of blue and green. any ideas? Is it 1 and5 on connecters both sides? |
