By 12,000 miles mine were no longer legal, 90% of my driving is urban and I got excessive wear on both front tyres but mine was on the outer edge, I've been told its common because of the weight and if the driver throws it into the corners instead of easing it in. So if ur wear on the inside cant be explained by u throwing it into corners backwards then I'd get the tracking checked Smile Current: MY 12 HSE Autobiography Kit
Gone: MY10 HSE Rear Ent/Park Heating

My contis wore on outer edge at 10k miles - Lr claim this is a normal characteristic and they are legal Shocked

They measured tyre depth on middle 75% of tyre and gave me depths in writing to prove satisfactory but I still have reservations but will argue if stopped they are the experts Evil or Very Mad

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Firenze Red

91,000 miles on 19 inch wheels with Goodyear tyres

Just started 3rd pair on the front

2nd set on rear still legal!

Are you on 20 inch wheels? I hear they don't wear as well

Hi Muddywheels, agree 100% about the contis, mine looked worn when they were brand new! wont have them again and would make sure that if I ever order another RRS it does not come with them on. 12MY RRS Orkney Grey HSE Lux

Was going to keep 19" on all time and store 20" HSE wheels to put back on when I sell but having read tyres should not be stored for more than 6 months now having to swap tyres twice a year Evil or Very Mad Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

yes the Conti's wear on the outside edge usually, especially if you like taking roundabouts the proper way. But they remain legal. ============
2010 TDV8 HSE - ooo laa laaaaaaaaa
2007 TDV8 HSE - superb car and very reliable

2012 - dearly departed, sadly missed.. to return in late 2013 with a new TDV8!
