United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
TDV6 Remap ?

Hi all,

General feedback seems to be that the TDV6 is a little underpowered compared to teh TDV8.

Has anyone had a remap done on the TDV6 and therefore how you would you describe any improvement ? Proud owner of a 2008 TDV8 HSE.....and an Audi A3 2.0T DSG Cab and a Porsche 911 Turbo (Mercedes W208 320 CLK and Mercedes W124 E220 Estate now gone)

Would you say it goes someway to closing the gap with the TDV8 ? Proud owner of a 2008 TDV8 HSE.....and an Audi A3 2.0T DSG Cab and a Porsche 911 Turbo (Mercedes W208 320 CLK and Mercedes W124 E220 Estate now gone)

Obviously, but not in terms of shire grunt and soundtrack the V8 gives Wink They are two totally different machines, it all depends what you want out of your RRS, everyone buys either for different reasons. If you go for the 2.7 V6 then i would recommend a BAS remap, if you can afford the V8 then go for that, test drive them both and see which one fits in with your needs. Thumbs Up

Thanks, I am looking at lining up a test drive of each to help make my own mind up. Proud owner of a 2008 TDV8 HSE.....and an Audi A3 2.0T DSG Cab and a Porsche 911 Turbo (Mercedes W208 320 CLK and Mercedes W124 E220 Estate now gone)

Don't forget the supercharged ady. If you do a lot of short journeys and not a lot of millage than it's perfect. Worth a thought. Thumbs Up MY11 Autobiography supercharged. Santorini Black. Monaco interior. Rear screens. Privacy.

Oh yes, there's always the 5.0 supercharged, or 4.2, Wink Mind you, you will need deep pockets like sweetafton Laughing or own a petrol station to run one of these on a daily basis Wink
