Buy RRS with 22" wheels

Hi I'm looking to buy a 58 plate RRS it has 22" over finch wheels. I have heard that the car is not compatible to have these wheels fitted. Does anybody know what problems I will get Nd what to look out for. Also will it be any good in the snow or should I buy different wheels with different tyres.

Mines got them on it's fine. Thumbs Up U only need to watch that they are original overfinch or good replicas that are designed to hold the weight of the car there's usually a stamp on the inside of the spokes as some cheap wheels aren't strong enough.

Check it's got good treads too so u don't need to replace them

A lot of people have 22"s fitted don't worry bowt it

I fit 19's in winter because other members criticise 20's as they are summer tyres - 22's must be worse Shocked Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

22's in snow are bad, i take mine off and put my 19's on with winter tyres, if we don't get much snow then 22's should be fine.

I noticed a significant differnce in ride quality with 22's. If you live in the centre of london then im sure its fine but where I live in scotland our A & B class roads are terrible so i ended up switching back to 20's after 2/3 months.

Either way i wouldnt let the wheels factor into your decision to buy the car or not, if they are genuine wheels u will get rid of them on ebay and be able to buy a nice set of 20" OEM autobiography wheels with new tyres with the proceeds. Thumbs Up
