well it goes like.....oh ok... Mr. Green

MPG is sat nicely on 24mpg ATM which is middle diddle according to LR's figures... This always increases when I get on the motorway (something I do not do regularly)

Performance increase is quite noticeable on the other hand. I removed the map a month or so ago (to see if I needed it for "normal" driving) and I lasted a mile before re-loading the BAS map. Mr. Green ..It felt "numb"...that's the best description I can give.

You need to plant your foot 1/2 to 3/4 to get any kind of "go" with mine with the standard map...where as the maximum throttle you need with the BAS map is 1/2, and normal driving is mostly tickling the throttle, it's that responsive and eager....

Sport mode is rarely used but when you do it's plenty rapid enough and anything less than a hot hatch is never going to pass you (up to legal limits anyway)... Whistle RRS gone

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Try using the command shift for a few journeys, ive been using it in mine for a few days now, and you get better mpg, i was also told that on the 3.0 if you put it in sport mode while cruising on the motorway you also get more mpg. Thumbs Up Thats your top tip for the day. Wink

I'll tell you what i have noticed with my motor (2.7) while trying this theory out, people often comment that the 2.7 is sluggish when setting off (usually the V8 boys) Laughing from a standing start, thats because when in drive it sets off in 2nd gear Shocked Use command shift, pop it into 1st and you will find that its no slouch Thumbs Up

Will do Thumbs Up

Its funny, one thing people commented to me when I started to consider a TDV6 was, that they are a little slow off the mark, I think with the SDV6 engine they have sorted that too, as it really is very eager to set off. Very Happy ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
