Just found out that the other driver reported me hitting him while he was stationary... despite the fact that my photos clearly show the direction of the impact with my RHS mirror pushed towards the front of my car. Now I am paying my excess to sort this out. Unbelievable, I wish I knew where he lived. Vadim A.

Sorry to hear about the prang, just play hardball and hopefully you got some witnesses aside for the counter defence! In all honesty, it will be the usual outcome of tit for tat and both insurances will agree who pays what.........the hardball game is purely for your NCB which unless protected and unless you can prove it was HIS fault, will tumble and next years premium will shoot up. Keep arguing the T Censored s, its worth it to prove he was the Censored who caused the shunt. Thumbs Up

Thanks man. I checked the street where it happened, and there are 2 CCTVs. I will try to call Westminster council tomorrow to see if the cameras captured anything, hopefully one of them did. Also, I have a witness so hopefully, I will be able to prove he's wrong. That motherless f Censored should get fired for blaming me.

I do have a photo of him... Whistle Vadim A.

Vadim - Sorry to hear of your issues, the Council must give you a copy of the video under the freedom of information act, they will make a charge but it is only £10 but you must request it in writing within 21 days.

All information you need is here:

Just talked to an approved garage they said they will replace the wing and will have to respray the bonnet with the lacker (i think) as well to match the colours and to avoid having chessboard like effect. This in effect raises the price for the service considerably. I never heard that if fixing a wing the bonnet would have to be resprayed as well. The RHS front wheel was also hit by the truck so wheel alignment would have to be done too to make sure the symmetry is still correct.

Thoughts anyone? Vadim A.

Any comments on the fact that I was told that the damaged wing will have to replaced (photos of the damaged wing on page 1)?
Thanks Vadim A.

Yeah looks more like the mouldings of anything and a quick repair on the wing. Unless of course there is damaged underneath most bodyshops replace everything unless challenged , it's how they make money.
