Thinking of one of these, anyone got one? What do you think?

I would buy one tomorrow but without the centre section it would look rubbish. surely you have to also get the centre piece to cover the air bag too? As far as I understand it that part does not come with the steering wheel. If it does then please tell me otherwise and I'll order one immediately.

What you do mate is use your own centre section. Then you send your old steering wheel back. Simples |

No mate. It's a different material than the steering wheel. Loads of guys on here have done it and no complaints yet (I think). |

I've put a new nappa wheel on mine and the centre core looks just fine (just need to replace the gren LR badge with a black one)

Sorry awd but that's just not doing it for me, it just looks wrong with different textured leather in such close proximity... Jaguar XKR Convertible

Hi mate have you a link were you bought that from? Is the leather good quality? And did you paint the steering controls? thanks Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

I'm afraid that's all you get with the airbag, there's no "smooth" airbag cover, they are all textured no matter what wheel you buy - genuine or aftermarket. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support! |

All original switches/center core mate no painting involved The Nappa is waaay nicer than the standard textured leather. And I got it 2nd hand off a Disco3 member last month (2 weeks old) Powerful UK or talk to "The Large One" (Nick(parts manager) at Yeovil LR) for a forum deal on a new one? £140odd iirc Jonathan The solution you are thinking of is a Bespoke trim of the centre core (Khan or Bespoke may quote it for you) But this is the only OEM solution (as per 2009 spec) The difference is slightly increased due to my dealer valeting the dash last week with a glossy interior polish ... which makes the core darker and shinier than the nappa.
