Rear entertainment.

I'm looking for a rear DVD system for my 07 sport, just DVDs just now but may add a playstation or x box in future.

I see some have the Rosen 7500 which looks good, is this still the one to buy or does anyone have or know of something better, thanks, Scott.

You def get what you pay for, the rosens are really easy to use, have great pic quality and come with controllers and wi fi headphones.

Best of all there seems to be literally no difference between the headrests when you swap the new rosens ones over; the colour and leather match is spot on.

I didn't want to cheapen the look of my car by having low quality DVD screens or a rubbish install with stuff hanging all over the place. The rosens just looked to be quality and i haven't been disappointed Cool

I'd go for them every time personally Thumbs Up Have i got the busted controller?!?!!?

A local audio technician firm charges £1,050 including fitting of the Rosen screens. Anyone know of a better deal? RR Sport TDV8 09 Santorini Black with all the trimmings

I went for a different option, 2 x iPads held by Griffin Cinema Seat, which attaches to the headrests.

Much better value.

All depends how you define the term "value", but yes I'm sure it may have been cheaper.

I just didn't want anything hanging off the back of my headrests or dangling from the ceiling, I wanted something that was in keeping with a car of the RRS's stature.

Just my opinion, not saying that's right for everyone. Have i got the busted controller?!?!!?

I'm not sure the cost of 2 iPads is necessarily cheaper, but I said better value because you get to use the iPads outside of the car. I only let my kids watch tv/films in the car on long journeys (there is a whole world outside the window), and we only go on long journeys every so often, so the cost per use of built in rear entertainment would be enormous for what is essentially old technology, certainly if you go down the OEM route. iPads are used every day in the house and at work, so are much better value in my view.

I said I use the Griffin cinema seat, well I've actually got that for one, but will probably get a Vogel RingO for the other one, it looks much better.

As always, each to their own .....
