Sweden 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HST Java Black
Got it home today!!!

Hi Guys!!!
I am the proud owner of this RRS HSE (factory HST fitted) MY-2006.
Got it home today (actually yesterday, about 4 hours ago)

Drives like a dream..

Left the "fair side" the day before yesterday, sold my 14 year old
silver SAAB.. (liked it a lot!!)
Entered the dark side now, with this..
Already got a "nickname".. the black hole, since i guess that it will
put some, maybe not so moderate, pressure on my wallet..

Working name is "SGR A*", which is the closest black hole in the milky way..

Look in my gallery.. I´ll try to post pics here, if I can figure it out..

Best regards

Love the bodykit plus towbar/open electrics panel look. Says "Just because I work hard doesn't mean I can't look good" as opposed to the usual "I'm all bling and no trousers" look of most bodykitted/big wheels RRS Wink Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi RRSTDV8

Well actually, it´s more brutal than that.. Shocked

The prevoius owner must have been tired of taking of
and putting back the cover, so he promptly put the hacksaw to it
and made holes in the cover for the electrical connector, and
some room for the lockinglever.. Rolling Eyes

So I´ll have to order a new cover, hopefully they are not that scarce.. Wink

Best regards, and nighty night to y´all..

Very nice!
Although, according to the "new" Girl with the dragon tattoo film, bad guys drive RRS in Sweden Wink
Good to see a bit of snow, my brother lives in Gavle, and he says there is not as much as last year!
Cheers

Hi "Codfather"..
So I guess that I have to change my behaviour a little now then? Wink

I have always been a "good guy"..

Well well, it´s never to late to change.

The winter here is not much to boast about..

We had a few flakes of snow just before cristmas, but it has all rained away..

But one can always hope that it comes back with a vengeance
now that I have a "proper car..) Razz

Best regards

It is unbelievable in snow! We had a whole 30cm of it at one point last year, (wow! I hear you say!) mine coped really well.
Do you still have to run studded tyres with a 4x4?
Cheers

Oh wow. That's a bit extreme of the last owner. I currently run mine with the rear electrics cover off because the fixings are really tight to put in. They do look good "ready for work" though... Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Surely brutal, and expensive "hackjob".. Censored

He put the hacksaw in a lid that costs about £200, and that is a primed lid,
add paintcost after that, a tin of paint, about £20.. Crying or Very sad

So the motto for today is:
"Before You cut, check the balance, or balance Your checks"

have to say that was the case with my MY57 but MY10 seems to have changed the pins and made the exercise of re-attaching far easier. Never seen this written up anywhere as one of the face lift improvements, but I guess it may have fallen off the bottom of the list after new engines, new interior, etc Very Happy
