Odd question - why might the front tyres be rough when running you hand clockwise and smooth anti-clockwise...or maybe the other way, but you get my point Mike

Sounds like feathering of the tread blocks. Might indicate a slight suspension geometry issue. Or you've been driving it like you stole it... Wink 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

So that they grip better in forward motion, but if you drive everywhere in reverse swap your wheels round from left to right Thumbs Up

It might be linked to the steering wheel thing, but im preparing for any arguments i may need to have (hopefully none)

With the freelander we had, this was a new IRD unit required under warranty and 4 new tyres at the time Mike
