That dreaded call from the Missus......

How not to start your day.

The missus text me to say, she has caught one of the alloys in the multi story car park......ARGHHHHHH

I dread to think what it looks like. The added problem is my wheels are Shadow Chrome so not sure if the wicked wheels type of repariers will have the required grey colour

Anyone know where I can get it repaired, Essex area?

Some car parks are terrible and too tight for modern cars, in the worst ones I put the cameras on that show the wheels (if you have the surround camera option)

Just called Lookers in Chelmsofrd, they say as long as its not to deep it can be repaiered but they need to send the wheel away for a couple of days as it cant be done onsight in a day, cost between £80-120 They wouldn't divulge who the use, shame......

If anyone has had a Shadow Chrome repaired, please let me know who you used

I was told to repair a shadow chrome alloy you'll never match it to the original, as they have to layer black down then top with a silver lacquer too much it be silver too litte it will be darker

I know I kernes mine, £100 to have it stripped and redone, but £380 to have all 4 done so they match

I've just spoke to the dealer where I got the car and he's told me they aren't shadow chrome wheels (my mistake) they are just a Land Rover factory option - Dark grey.



Can anyone confirm this? RR Sport TDV8 09 Santorini Black with all the trimmings
