United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport TDV6 Autobiography Santorini Black
2006 2.7 HSE

I used to have an XJ, for one night only I thought "what have I done?" in response to trading in my 3.0 Jaguar for a RRS.

2 weeks on, I am so delighted with it.

Just trying to figure a few things out

1 Where is the best value place to replace my tyres (when the time comes) (currently 275/40R20 106W Grabbers) and what brand should I replace them with
2 My purchase from a main dealer had a damaged side step...is there anywhere I can get that changed/replaced
3 I don't have an ipod but want to play MP3s, is the rear auxilary just fine?
4 my sat nav DVD is old, I guess I can look up nav DVDs on ebay and replace it from under the passenger seat?
5 I am waiting for the main dealer to send me the keys to the roof rack so I can adjust them, which I will use for the roofbox during my hols...any experiences on different types of roof boxes?
6 If I want to carry 4 bikes, I guess I need a S/N tow bar (and adjust the electricals) and a rack...any recommendations
7 any experiences with 5 AND 6 in terms of security stability etc?
8 how do you guys clean the roof (I have a sunroof), as even after lowering the suspension, its a bit of a stretch?

Sorry for the loads of questions...but you should see the glee on my face Oh wow

Hi,

Side steps are available on ebay but be careful as I don't think all are genuine.

Even if you had an Ipod it would plug in the aux socket in the back. The stereo will also play Mp3's if you wanted to burn them to disc as data.

Sat nav discs occasionally appear on here or can be found on ebay at times and yes it's just a case of changing it under the seat.

Adam Thumbs Up

I've got a small step ladder to clean the roof. But going to get one of those aluminium steps.

for tyres Hankook's are the best by far if you go up to a 45 profile it will ride a lot better. (smoother on the road).

For cleaning the roof I have a step platform that i use to clumb up onto and walk along its metal and fold away. Same as above, but I got it from B&Q. Also Meguiar's do a lambswool was mitt on an adjustable pole wich is very handy and will not scratch the life out of your paintwork so no need for a ladder.

hope this wee bit helps and happy motoring.

I have one of the platforms aswell, but have found the best thing is a plastic beer crate as its easier to push around the car and is great as a seat when cleaning the wheels and lower parts of the car Thumbs Up
