Currently looking to buy a new sound system for the house. I've been looking at Bose but wondered if you guys could recomend anything else.
Im looking for radio & iPod connection. CD not important but want something that sounds nice at any volume.

I quite like Marantz stuff they have a range of micro systems that might do the trick.. what hi fi give it 5 stars

I have a full size marantz system with kef speakers and i am very impressed.

It's one of the tweeters, the grill Alu mesh is see thru

I got it last summer. I ordered this and the B&W Zeppelin on 30 day home trial, this one won as it could follow me in the garden with no wires

The sound is superb, indoors or outdoors, and the battery lasts about 8 hours if I recall correctly

Zermat is completely spot on with the marantz.
I have a rather expensive marantz and I also have a. Have a very expensive bose .
The bose is poor quality for the price, it has a boomy artificial sound that teens love, but quality of sound on the marantz is far superior.
The bose are compact and do produce a lot of sound,
Onkyo are also worth a look. Good quality for the price
