How no voucher? Did you just phone the centre?

I'm keen to get on my course, but everytime I bring the subject up with the dealer, they get very vague about the issue. Matt

Scorpio,
Let us know how you get on at the LRE, most interested to hear how the sport performs in an off road situation. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

took the course this afternoon, very impressed, absolutely amazing what the rrs can do.
to put it in a nutshell, as long as you understand the functions of the off roading dial, all you have to do is to just more or less steer the car .Drove a standard rrs 2.7 hse, with one other guest. really nice people at Milton Keynes, very knowledgeable and co-operative.definately would recommend any body who can , to take the course.

Scorpio,
Think I will be on the phone tommorrow, Can't wait for the dealer for ever.
Would really like to see how this car can be put throught its paces and see how it performs off road.
Have you any intetion of taking your own sport off the raod at any time, or is it solely for raod use. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

lr experience

see to have lost the centre booking number, i got it from land rover customer services.

not sure about using my own rrs,off road, bad enough with sainsburys car park, cannot say that off roading turns me on, think would be more fun in a battered old defender where scratching and slapping tree sides does not matter.

one thing the instructor did show me, and wait for it , here it comes, it is possible to do handbrake turns !!!!!!!!! but you need a slippery road and good nerves.
take the experience though, it really is amazing how the vehicles can operate

Gave LRE Skipton a call,
They are surprised that I have not had my voucher yet. They asked my reg no and called me back with the voucher details.
Have booked for Sept 13th. Upgraded to full day level 1 course and paid extra money for me and my partner to be sole occupants of the car for one day.
So now can't wait for the experience and will post when completed to let everybody know how it went.
Shame I had to bypass the dealer and sort it myself but with my own experience at the dealership this has not come as any surprise. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Cedric,

The overall cost for the day is £325.00 inclusive of lunch and sole occupancy.
Some think it may sounds dear but it's my fortieth birthday present to myself. Cool Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Thanks Biggles.

Upgrading to the full level 1 also means that you could then go on to do higher level courses (and spend even more!)
