Front brake question

I live in a small community so most of my driving over the past 2 years has been local. As a result, my front discs are warped from stop and go driving. I would like to replace them with cross drilled rotors. RR doesn't use these and will not install them.
My car is an 2009 and warranty still in effect. Does anyone have any thoughts to whether cross drilled discs would last longer than factory flat discs with this type of driving? Thx in advance! Mike mike murphy

Cross-drilling is primarily to assist in heat dispersal and a marginal improvement in wet weather performance. Unless you're in the habit of braking hard from high speed you're not likely to gain much benefit.

I'd stick with the LR part and stay within your warranty terms as we know that manufacturers, like insurers, are looking for any wriggle room they can find.

You'd also need to tell the insurance company you'd modified the brakes and they were no longer factory 'standard'.
