Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

As has been explained in earlier posts on the workings of this cool box, this cooler is a solid state heat pump that uses the Peltier Effect to cool the inside of the cool box.

When the cool box is switched on, the LED in the switch illuminates and power is supplied to the thermoelectric cooler. Heat is then transfered from the liner of the cool box to the heatsink, and the fan runs to cool the heatsink.

So, if the LED lights up and the fan is working and yet it is not cold, it could be that a number of the "couples" (Peltier Effect Circuits) are not working. Or it could be that their connection to the heatsink is broken.

You need to understand how this cooler works in order to troubleshoot. An explanation is given in the link on another thread. Malaysia Boleh!

Fridge

My cooler box is out and the switch isn’t lighting up. Changed fuse even though is wasn’t bad. Any ideas what it could be?
