2010 TDV8 Starting Problem
Hello all
Have a strange fault developed on our 2010 TDV8. Car detects smart key and comes "alive". However on trying to start all we get is a click and and you have to start again. Car will eventually start and then runs no problem, what do you think, loose lead somewhere? Anyone else had the same?

A known problem with the TDV8 mate. You need a new starter motor. Mine was intermittent and then became more and more frequent. The new starter motor resolved it.WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

this is more than likely your starter - beware, mine did this for months then seized and the car had to be towed!============

2012 - dearly departed, sadly missed.. to return in late 2013 with a new TDV8!
