10 plate 3.6 vs 11 plate 3.0

Hi all. I'm in the Market for a nearly new RRS. I'm told the 3.6 engine stops in the 10-plate. Having read the Autotrader expert and owners reviews, I can see that a few more toys come with the 3.6 10 plate model as well as a bit more grunt. Obviously the larger engine comes with slightly less economy - but within reason I figure 'in for a penny .......'

My question to those in the know is which one will be better to own and which one will be more attractive when I come to off load it in 2-3 years time? Your thoughts will be welcome.

The 3.6TDV8 and the 3.0TDV6 debate has been done - personally i find the 3.0TDV6 just as good as the TDV8

As for Toys the 10/11My toys add no more, you could buy an 11my TDV6 with with the same toys as a 10my TDV8 Mike

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

I thought Hybrid TV was std on 3.0 MY11HSE and was not std on 3.0 MY10 HSE ?

If i was you i would drive both back to back and make your decision based on this ... I looked at some TDV8s as there seemed to be some good prices on MY10 3.6 but wasn't keen on the fuel economy.

After the first 1000 miles i can say I've never felt wanting and it is a big step up from the 2.7 V6 it replaced. 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world

2006- BMW Z4M Roadster -Titanium Silver

Club - Ex Defender & Disco 3

Definitely the TDV8. Well worth it for the extra refinement, performance, sound and equipment. If you add all of the extra equipment to a standard TDV6 the price would be similar. Having had both it would be the TDV8 every time! WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award
