Considering yours and your sisters age it is a good price, but also a double edged sword, I know of several cases where people ten years your senior cant get insurance thru' the big names no matter what, I bet the form takes some filling in ! 08 2.7 RRS "S"

Have you ever asked DL for off road use, cover on the contents of a trailer being towed, contents of a roofrack? They will run a mile and quote accordingly - LR Inusred includes these things automatically so if you are looking for offroad cover they are actually a very good buy. Just had a quote from them for my Evoque - £198pa. DL refused to quote, Admiral wanted £1000 (hey I'm 54 and have an unblemished record and 16 years no claims.........) for the same car and wouldn't cover offroad use. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

nick - is this the "new" LRI or the old RSA LRI? I'm still with old RSA set-up which is still available for existing clients, even with a new car. The "new" LRI is an offshoot of Stratstones. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim, It sounds like the "new" LRI to me. I'm with "old" LRI (RSA) as well, and when I got my new car the "new" LRI were miles more expensive, hence I stayed with LRI(RSA). My understanding is that as long as you don't break the policy by moving elsewhere for a while you can stay on RSA's LRI policy indefinately. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black 2013 Evoque 5 Door Pure Tech SD4 - Orkney Grey with Panoramic Roof (Mrs E's new baby) GONE - RRS - 3.0 TDV6 HSE - Santorini (2010) GONE - RRS - 2.7 TDV6 HSE - Java Black (2007) GONE - Porsche Boxster S - 3.2 - Black |

I wouldnt want offroad cover for the Sport as thats what the 110 is for. And the 110 is causing me some hassle today as it's policy comes up on sunday and the current insurers have declined me as I do over 3k a year in it and use it for my business.

When I first went with LRI it was RSA(I think) then the following year Brit Insurance, then it seems they are now using Zenith
