Locking problem

Anyone had a problem whereby on locking the car all doors bar the drivers side door lock?

When I check the drivers door it will open but the alarm goes off

When I then re-lock the drivers door is now locked??

I have the same problem, however sometimes it takes more than one extra lock to actually lock the drivers door, and mine is a lefthand drive. RRS TDV8 HSE in Stornoway Grey/Alpaca/Rhodium/Multimedia/Privacy Glass

Hi, I found this DYI on changing the locks on a Discovery 3, anyone know if it is the same on a RRS? http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic33743.html RRS TDV8 HSE in Stornoway Grey/Alpaca/Rhodium/Multimedia/Privacy Glass

aren't you thinking of the setting where to UNlock the car you have to press twice, the first press only UNlocking the driver's door? ============

I my handbook it says to lock the car properly you have to press twice on the key fob

And if you do that, it disables the interior motion sensors. ie if you wanted to leave your pet in the car for a few minutes.

I have pressed it twice it sets alarm but still does not lock the drivers door!!

It has gone to LR today so ill let you all know the outcome.

I personally think that there is a fault with the lock on the door that just so happened when i was messing around with the key settings. Embarassed
