I have the 3G version and i must admit i really like it. I have recently added the JB and it is superb now. If you are going to go down the 3G route get a pacakge from 3 as they offer unlimited internet with their packages. I have the iphone 4 so i switch my 3 sim between the two |

I went for a WIFI version get got a "mifi" from 3 network, its a wireless device that takes a payg sim card. That way you can use it for multiple devices much better option in my opinion. |

+2 they dont replace a laptop - in fact you cant really use them without a PC/Laptop and you are really restricted on a number of things you wouldnt be with a laptop Mike 2014 Facelift Discovery |

I've just ordered one, not to replace the laptop but for the extra convenience of its size and weight. |

I went the alternate route, was heading towards the apple shop when I passed the car phone warehouse so popped in for a look, they have all the tablet P.C's available for you to pick up and poke around on. When I was playing with the Ipad2 I couldn't help but makr comparisons to my 5 year old touch, it was exactly the same only bigger, nothing new and still had the same restrictions when browsing the internet. Then I had a play with the Motorola Xoom, now that was different, dual core, brighter screen, mini usb connector, mini hdmi connector, micro usb card slot which will be activated on the next software upgrade. It can also play flash player which you need for the internet, the browser works in tabs for new sessions just the same way as a normal computer. It has fast access keys to switch between open and running programs, plays videos with amazing quailty' battery will last for 10 hours too. There aren't as many app for it yet but they will come soon. But best of all it operates on the new Android honey comb system which is just brilliant.

Don't think a tablet will really ever be adle to replace proper lap top although on the next software upgrade 3.1 the Xoom will have the adility ro use things such things like game controllers and a mouse so it,s definately getting better. 2010 Alaska white 3.6TDi v8, heated steering wheel, Ipod connection, Aribica extended leather, Digital TV, voice activation, privacy glass, Dynamic pack

There is a tablet that runs windows 7 - but is just a tablet not one of these interchangable things; no idea how it is though...i think there is a fine line between a laptop/pc and a tablet and maybe there shouldnt be the cross over Mike

I certainly wouldn't be able to do my work that I bring home on the tablet, still need the flexibilty and software of the laptop. 2010 Alaska white 3.6TDi v8, heated steering wheel, Ipod connection, Aribica extended leather, Digital TV, voice activation, privacy glass, Dynamic pack

Definitely not a laptop replacement, I bought it primarily for when I go on holiday to send/receive emails............as it is much smaller, lighter and has a better battery life by miles than my laptop.....
