Scotland 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Ipanema Sand
2010 Steering Wheel

Does anone know if the newer 2010 steering wheel will fit a 2009MY Sport ? I can modify the wiring to retain the switch functionality, I dont see that as an issue.
Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

Yes, I just installed a new smooth nappa leather wheel I got from keithjohnbaker in the UK on EBAY. I also ordered the smooth gear shift knob from a FFRR and trimmed off the leather. The wheel pops right on just follow instructions on this site. Good luck! Mike mike murphy

If your car is a pre-facelift model i.e. Before MY10 then im not so sure.
I think the wheel will probably fit on ok and secure down but you might have issues with the buttons on the steering wheel not operating.
I changed my steering wheel on my MY10 for a wheel with paddle shift and heated element, i needed to replace the clock spring/rotary coupling so as the heated element would work and a little re programming to enable the flappy paddles to operate properly.
Speak to Pete at Bell Autos he will now for sure and keep you right 0871 288 4656

Sorry, should add this clarification. This was the smooth nappa leather wheel that is on the 2010 but i am not sure if it is a 2010 or an 2009 with the new nappa leather. I am not sure if the controls are different as everything on mine just switched over perfectly. Mike mike murphy
