Spare key not recognized anymore

After LR had to reset some electricals, my main key is still recognized (they kept it duing maintenance), but my spare key is not anymore (no, not a battery problem, key is new).
Is there a way to "reinitialize" it myself, or should I go back to Censored dealer and tell them to do what they should have done on the first place ? 2010 TDV6 3.0 HSE Santorini Black Tan Full Leather

when a dealer did some work on my old car, they needed to have both keys so they could both be re-synced with the car

my guess is that because the second key wasn't available they have had to remove it and its them that need to redo it

I am sure I have read that if you hold the key under the steering column you can re attach the key to the car. It's somewhere in the manual. MY2014 RRS Autobiography in Corris Grey, Black contrast roof and Cirrus interior, adaptive lights and side steps.

Gone - 2011 RRS HSE TDV6 Baltic Blue, Ivory/Ebony contrast stitching, Side steps, paddles, iPod/IPhone lead (works just fine with iPhone4), Adaptive lights

I think that's just low battery/poor reception stuff. I believe it's a trip back to the dealers......... Sad

just in case it helps anyone in the future, both my keys were nt working, they are the keys that charge themselves, we discounected the battery from the car for 10 mins, then reattached, start the car and leave it running for 7 mins, no less, this resynced the key to the car, repeated minus the battery removal for the second key.

excuse the typing the ipad keyboad is truly rubbish...

Delicious, delicious irony.

Agree with Gerico; back to dealer to get spare re-paired with vehicle.
