Worn ball joints were flagged up on a recent MOT but they were "within tolerances". Had they been completely knackered the service manager confirmed it would have been a warranty job no problem. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Had my control arms and ball joints replaced on my MY06 at 80K, its a known issue with the type of suspension set up we have. When i had the last change on the MY06 approx 18 months ago, ALTO had to wait for new Ball joints to be delivered from the UK which had been recently redesigned apparently..

Mine had its first test 2 months early along with its 3rd annual service when I picked it up. In amongst the Assist paperwork etc was an MOT guarantee ! The ball joints on my D3 where knocking and it went into the main dealer for its MOT and they, like yours said they where in tolerance, so what is the tolerance I wonder ?? |
