Australia 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Java Black
Has LR replaced your ball joints, etc under warranty

Hi to All,

I have a 2009 RRS with 50K, I need new stabilizer bushings, ball joints, control arm bushes and tie rod ends.

I have booked the car in at Trivetts for warranty work and waiting for the service department to ring me back.

I would like to know whether others have got these items replaced under warranty or am I going to have an argument?

Thanks in advance.

Worn ball joints were flagged up on a recent MOT but they were "within tolerances". Had they been completely knackered the service manager confirmed it would have been a warranty job no problem. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

Had my control arms and ball joints replaced on my MY06 at 80K, its a known issue with the type of suspension set up we have. When i had the last change on the MY06 approx 18 months ago, ALTO had to wait for new Ball joints to be delivered from the UK which had been recently redesigned apparently..

My new 3litre oil burner which is just 8 months old has already had 2 new front bushes (at 17K) and a steering rack Shocked So no doubt after 6 years there are still underlying issues/design flaws Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Mine had its first test 2 months early along with its 3rd annual service when I picked it up. In amongst the Assist paperwork etc was an MOT guarantee ! The ball joints on my D3 where knocking and it went into the main dealer for its MOT and they, like yours said they where in tolerance, so what is the tolerance I wonder ??
