2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver
Flat battery not tailgate switch.

Hi its been a while since i had any probs but were off again,does it ever end.
Fuse fl42 feeds amplifier under drivers seat.Remove it and the meter drops to normal levels.
The meter fluctuates between 500 m amps and i amp.it has a regular pattern of 500ma for 4 seconds and 1 amp for 30 secs.removing the plugs from the amplifier unit makes no difference till the last one which is a 2 wire plug optical i suspect and is the M.O.A.T.in and out .disconecting this one drops the drain to 250ma and is stable but still to high.reconecting this wire but disconecting it from the other end which is a reciever unit reverts back to previous figures.
I havnt checked out the price of the amp yet but it seems it has a problem.it runs all the other media entertainment so its gonna be mega price i guess.
Any ideas or previous history of this unit causing drain down would be helpfull.thanks .JT. 2oo5 sport tdv6 (broken)

Had a problem on mine, the boot light was not going out. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

The unit is £535 plus vat.i might just wire in an ignition senced relay to shut it down,dam sight cheaper.
no techys out there suffered this problem.cw. 2oo5 sport tdv6 (broken)
