I have noticed that I have quite a large scratch on outside of my drivers window. Not sure how I have done it perhaps a piece if grit or something stuck in the bottom of the window or perhaps I have done it with my ring or watch strap while cleaning the car.

Anyway it is not just a surface scratch, I can feel it with my fingernail. Has anyone had this before, is it repairable by a smart repairer and what sort of cost would I be looking at?

I am also thinking about having the window replaced as I know someone at autoglass and he says he can get the window from pilkington in the same tint and tint colour. But just waiting to see what the cost of that would be. Has anyone bought a replacement one, what was the cost?
