not an option if that is your taste, but it can be toned down a bit with maybe http://covertecsolutions.com/picture-galle...gallery=26 or http://covertecsolutions.com/picture-galle...;gallery=1 or even http://covertecsolutions.com/picture-galle...allery=20, the pictures are all individual choices however if there are any other combinations you would like to see let me know as we have created many. thanks Paul

No sorry the other examples are just as bad.

Land Rover spend Millions on product development, design and asthetics

They may spend millions on developement, but obviously it is not enough for some peoples taste, however although we can do standard the whole point of posting is to get feedback like yours and the points of view will be agreed or disagreed by many. thank you for your input, what would your taste? be as i can find pictures of work that we have done at a level to getting your approval would give me great pleasure, thanks Paul

You cant really tell quality of workmanship from a photo.

Its about longevity, design, materials etc etc...Land Rover do spend millions to get it right and meet all markets.

If you are in the know and spend enough - they will do some custom things for you to...but really their line up always compliments the vehicle

looks like a veiled advert for his services to me, lets ask a load of RRS owners if they like what I do, link up loads of pictures to my website and hopefully get one of them to purchase a retrim saving on the sponsorship to the forum Rolling Eyes

This is not the point of a forum, it is to receive all sides of the story / different viewpoints, if we only posted on what we liked, there would be no constructive criticism and therefore no progression

Key word "constructive"

I was

I think the colour was garish - the design, awful - i grant you cant see the quality of the materials from a photo...it reminded me of that pimp your ride type approach, but you would have to have some high grade leather and stitching to get over the fact there was too much of it.

There are no reference to how it will last and wear etc.

Frankly if i was purchasing a range rover sport second hand - and that was on it, i would either want it back to standard or a few k off it - unless of course the outside was lime green, then i would avoid the car.

He asked for opinions, i was giving mine. Personally, to improve on the standard (and there is a lot of money spent to ensure it meets a number of specs), it would have to be seriously more tastefully done than it is. Mike

thanks to all for their comments

I would like to thank everybody for their comments, i do interiors for a living and i create what i am asked to do, and what i am asked to do is purely driven by my customers so far.
Please allow me clarify a few things.
i make suggestions and advise but most of my work is subject to a budget to what my customer wishes to spend.
I have never been asked to do an interior from my own expression, if i were to be asked who knows what the result would be.
this is the very first time i have written on a forum and i am both dissapointed and excited in the response of some peoples comments however i have broad shoulders and can accept as constructive.
yes i do run a business doing interiors and yes i do get work from talking with people.
No i am not expecting business from comments posted although this is inevatable. i have many pictures of my work in various forms ( please advise how to post these rather than directing you to my website)
if i had the figures and costs to sponser i would do this, but i do not yet have these yet, i am awaiting these from your moderators or whom ever.
the reasons for talking and asking questions on this forum are
1. to advise people as best as possible to interior questions.
2. to be able to advise customers of whether they are making a right decision on colour, finish and quality of material.
3. to also advise and recommend to the best of my knowledge.
4. plus many more reasons.
if any one wishes to ask any questions i will do my best to answer them.
if any one wishes to ask my advice please do so.
if any one wishes to abuse my knowledge then do so
everyone is open to there opinion and in the cases of your questions then mine is only an opinion or fact and i will advise of which.
i look forward to talking with you all from time to time thanks PAUL[/quote]
