MY08 & MY10 sat nav differences

What is the difference between the 2008 & 2010 sat nav systems. I used to have the 2008 RRS and thought the sat nav was pretty basic. But I currently have a 2007 jaguar XKR and the sat nav in that isn't too bad. I am soon to take delivery of a 2010 RRS and wondered if it was much the same as is in the jaguar sat nav. Any info would be appreciated. Neutral 2010 Alaska white 3.6TDi v8, heated steering wheel, Ipod connection, Aribica extended leather, Digital TV, voice activation, privacy glass, Dynamic pack
Now gone - Jaguar XKR4.2 v8 Supercharged
Gone - 08 RRS TDI V8 Java Black, Privacy glass 315 BHP tunit box.
Still have - Merc C200 sport

Having had a Jag XF I can confirm that the sat nav is the same in the Sport. It gets quite a lot of criticism but I find it usually works fine if you also use your common sense. I also like the split screen when you are at roundabouts or on motorways.

One thing that is different over the Jag is that you can only increase the volume above what you have the audio system set to. First time I was using it I had the music on really loudly and got the fright of my life when the sat nav cut in. As a result I now don't have the voice on, only use the visual reference, unless I'm in heavy traffic and in the city with lots of turns (if I'm doing that I make sure the volume is down at a fairly low level). 3.0 SDV6 HSE Dynamic, Corris Grey with contrast Santorini Black Panoramic Roof, lunar interior, privacy glass, upgraded Meridian system, cooled 18 way front seats, heated steering wheel, adaptive xenons, large screen wash bottle.

Gone: 3.0 TDV6 HSE, Santorini Black, Ivory/Lunar interior, grand black lacquer finish, HK Logic 7.1 Surround, Privacy Glass, Adaptive Xenons, heated steering wheel.

Gone: Jaguar XF Luxury, Pearl Grey, Dove Interior

Thanks alanad, have been looking at the tutorials on the landrover web site and it does say you can adjust the nav volume indipendantly but the maybe means something else, guess I will find out when I get my hands on it and start playing around. Also my XKR is a 2006 model so hope there have been some updated in the last 5 years. Can you also confirm is the 2010 RRS system is hard drive based or DVD? 2010 Alaska white 3.6TDi v8, heated steering wheel, Ipod connection, Aribica extended leather, Digital TV, voice activation, privacy glass, Dynamic pack
