LPG conversion
I previously had the 2.7 tdv6 RRS which I found was a bit slow compared to most other cars I've owned lol so I decided to sell and get something else a bit quicker, after selling I wished I had just kept the car as the power was the only thing I didn't like about the car, so I've decided im going to buy another but don't want one with moon miles but don't want to pay the earth for one,ive saw lots of petrol RRS's with low miles which I'm now considering.I was wondering if there's anyone on the site with a petrol RRS who has had an LPG conversion?if so,is it worth doing? What sort of mpg do you get with yours and is there any disadvantages? Any help would be great. I've looked around the net for answer but would like to hear it from some one who has LPG.

Hello bud
Don't buy a lpg supercharged unless it has had some head work, if you want more. Power and economy go for the tdv8

I had the Disco 3 V8 converted (last LR I owned) mpg is same maybe moderately less as the calorific value of gas is slightly less than petrol. In an SC I'd expect this to be slightly better as the higher compression makes a difference.
The key thing is to make sure you fit the valve oil lubrication kit and only go for a top make and certified garage to do the work.
Mine was a BRC kit (as it works very well with the valve lube kit) and I had it fitted by F1 Automotive in Bolton. Eddie up there really knows his stuff. My pal had the same done on his 4.4 RRS at the same time and ran really well. You can fit a bigger tank on the RRS compared to the Disco 3 too. Don't buy one without the oil kit - people I've talked to who haven't done this have resulted in a new head after 2 - 3 years.
My conversion paid back in 16 months - but cost me c3K to put in...
Saying all this - I've now got the TDV8 and I reckon that's the way to go - it's quicker and has more grunt than my old V8 Disco 3. I'm now a Oil Burning Convert!
