Scotland 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

Just finished an experience half day......got there at 1.00pm today, was finished 90 minutes later as I didn't do the on-road driving bit.

Had more difficult drives getting out of Tesco's car park, but I suppose it all relates to which location you use and if the ground is bone dry, which it was.

Still, it got me out of the office for a bit!

Which centre did you use? Sorry to say it now but it really is worth every penny to do the full day! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

It was Chiltern (just north of Luton!) The staff were excellent, the track was far from challenging! But I've also done a two day course at Eastnor Castle and 3 weeks in the Sahara desert going through Tunisia and Libya!

Ok, so that was in my Toyota Land Cruiser.......if anybody wants to have a look at that experience which was amazing I've done a fairly rough web site which is
www.desertcrawl.com .......but you may have to wait for a couple of minutes for it to load as its got cool music for the background.

Its worth the wait!

What he is saying SuperT is that you should chop your TDv6 in now for a freelander2 as the F2 will be faster than an RRS!

Just been in the local dealer and they already have 18 firm orders for TDv8 RRS's and FFRR's (10 for RRS!) and D3 will not be getting the engine.................... yet!
Current delivery on a TDv6 ordered from the factory is 3 months 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Now a 4.2 S/C V8 in the new Freelander would be quite something Laughing Let's face it nobody is ever going to take a souped up Freebie offroad so it doen't need the extra TR programmes or LR box! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Do you think that F'Lander owners who are hardcore off roaders will probably have a defender or old disco anyway? Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Did my Level 2 at Rockingham yesterday.
Excellent day in very challenging conditions with all the rain the night before.
Great instructors there, big thanks to Ray especially Thumbs Up

There are a few who have them, but the real hard core guys (Mad Freelanders Club) shun Defenders and Discos (unless they need them as rescue cars, which isn't very often!) 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
