Glad the original dealer is fixing it - not great but i can see what its the original dealer not any dealer...although i would have suggested they should have offered to fit a normal one to replace the colour coded one.

After production pride in workmanship is a real problem and just part of a trend the whole country has got in...its not about doing a good job at the right price, its about doing the job at the cheapest price - which means inexperienced, or rushed repairs with poorer quality parts.

Land Rover are reasonably hard on suppliers QC and the factory QC for RR certainly exists and people do care - when you are fitting on the line, its more difficult to notice in a bin of hundreds when one is slightly off - especially with the time pressures...and anyway more of the RR line is automated. Mike

Foxy, May be worth getting your dealer to remove the door cladding on the remaining doors just in case they are the same. Thumbs Up In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

That's shocking!

To try and bodge it once they'd broken it..I'd hope whoever dealer uses to colour coordinate their cars has been sacked! RRS gone

Tim: do i just yank it upwards ?
Not quite yank it, but just move it to the position it should be in then lay it back down doesn't do any damage

Be careful. Had my wiper blade freeze on the windscreen last winter and didn't realise till I switched on the ignition, the passenger wiper worked ok but the drivers side stuck Shocked I won't leave the auto rain setting on again this winter! Censored
When I took the wiper arm off I noticed the 'star' thread on the spindle was virtually stripped. My cure was to wrap some plumbers PTFE tape around stripped thread, put the arm back on and do the nut up tight. It's ok so far but has a bit of play in the wiper arm. I think the only proper fix would be to get the wiper spindle replaced, no doubt it's attached to the motor so won't be a cheap fix
My cars only 2 years old so still under warranty, not sure if this would be covered Question 2019 BMW X3 2.0i M Sport in metalic black- Brilliant
2014 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Atlantic Grey, replaced with 2018 Frost White Outlander PHEV, can't fault em - now gone
2012 SDV6 HSE in Orkney Grey, Privacy Glass & Side Steps (notice a theme)! - Even better but now gone
2009 TDV6 HSE in Stornoway Grey, 20" alloys, Privacy Glass & Side Steps - Fantastic! but gone

I can't wait to get my car back tomorrow although I'm really worrying that the colours won't match. I have loved having the White rrs but it just attracts too much negative attention I've been called a wag three times this week
What do I do if I am not happy with the colour matching ? Smile

i wouldnt worry about that too much, with the correct colour codes it should be a perfect match. ive worried about getting doors resprayed on 3 year old cars thinking you would see the difference due to light bleaching, but its always worked out fine! MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged Wink ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps!

Gone: a comprehensive list of imprezas and a Merc ML AMG
