My 07 TDV6 has just passed 194K, the transfer box failed at 192K so I pulled the whole transmission and fitted a complete unit. Had the gerarbox checked and it was found to be absolutely fine, the transfer box needed a £15 bearing and is now also rebuilt and awaiting a new home with the gearbox. Had the unit double flushed at 150K and did notice an improvement so I'd say you've got plenty of life in it yet.

Unless you frequently use Low range and haul a maximum weight trailer you can forget about the life of the unit under normal road use.
