Naah they look better if you go the whole hog and split the lights to colour code them black.

I never had the balls to split mine when I had the RRS but have done the D3 and it was easy, I simply heated them up and eased them appart!

Strangly enough, I think I prefer the orange too. I think the balck just looks a bit odd & I wonder if it'd actually be legal anyway? 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

It's a no brainer, Orange. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

United States 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

You gents may find this interesting (I hope). I have been engaged in a customization project on my RRS, and - since I have a Chawton White model - I thought going clear on the side marker and headlight lens (along with color coding the whole vehicle) was the way to go.

A lot of people did the headlight oven baking trick - which is really easy to do with RRS headlights - and replaced the amber lens with a piece of cut ceiling tile for a flourescent light. Well, I didn't like that idea (looked chintzy to me). So, I tried my hand at creating a clear cast reflector instead.

See this link for all the details

Anyway, here is what the final product looks like:

And here's what they look like in my own (customized) headlights:

I have added amber LEDs in the place of the OEM white bulbs, so they show amber when lit.

I have a couple of people who are interested in having me make these for them with a smoked tint, and can do the same for anyone here (for a one-time low low fee, of course Laughing) , if you're interested!
