i found on another site you cannot swap out the switches but does anyone know if a later model RRS has more than the drivers window with one touch capability and if the new swicthes are back compatible with the 2006? |

I'd imagine that it's not just the switch that makes one touch windows operate. Me thinks the loom might be different or perhaps the MFU would also need this feature

It's not only the switch.

On my MY11 RRS the passenger and rear windows were all one touch open and close from the driving seat. The drivers window only moved when the button was held in position. After 7 months of this I decided to check the handbook (as you do) to see if this was normal.

The early vehicles (pre 2007MY I think) were on-touch only on the driver's window. It's not just a case of changing the switch panel, the motors/regulators are different to support one-touch operation. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support! |
