Under the car the other day looking for a rattle which i found, A loose pipe !
Not sure what it does but it is located at the front nearside of the engine bay.
If it was rubber i would say it was in the right place to be a radiator vent pipe, but it is steel, about 1" in dia and held to the body with a steel wire gromet and a steel clamp.
It also has a belows further up the pipe, the whole pipe hangs vertical.
It looks like it is to vent something hot !

Someone suggested it was a heater pipe, for cars with the diesel heater option, but as far as i know, mine does not have it ! unless i am missing something.

Ideas ?

Should just add, that i spoke to local dealer who had not real idea ! ! ! ! Andrew

Sounds like the FBH exhaust outlet. If yours is a diesel you will have a heater. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

When the temp drops to 4c it automatically kicks in. You can do a modification (parts needed) to get it to turn on when you telephone/set timer on the unit so that the car is nice and warm when you get in on cold mornings. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
