Might just be worth a quick phone call to your local service team. They can do things and set things from the equipment.
Hope you get it sorted !

My Car is an MY11 model. So it does it by keyless entry button on door handle and key fob. I dont know if 100 % they will be able to set it at the dealership but its always worth asking.

Sorry I cant be more help .... Where abouts in Uk are you? Do you know who your closest dealer is ? Smile

The auto fold is normally accessed thru' the "systems settings" on the end of the L/H stalk, press the button till the binnacle screen says settings then use the stereo controls on the steering wheel to select and access whatever comes up i.e mirror dip, see you home settings, auto door locking etc, if it doesnt say mirror fold then your car isnt set up to do it, it may be possible to upgrade the software to make it work, it's no real hardship to live with is it ??? 08 2.7 RRS "S"

I turned the car on, pressed both L and R of the mirror adjust, bringing them in and out. Used the fob to lock and unlock. A couple of times and now they fold in when car is locked and fold out when I unlock. Hopefully this works .... there was no taking any cables off of the battery. 2011 HSE Sport.

Would a 2006 HSE have fold in/out mirrors?
