Lower door mouldings

The lower mouldings on both front doors have come loose. Is this just a matter of pulling them off and fitting new clips or is there a trick or a caution? Thanks, Mike

The only thing to watch for is if the plastic struts that the clips go into are broken as well. This can make getting the clips into the holes pretty tricky. I managed to strengthen mine with duct tape and get them re-attached firmly - otherwise they make an annoying clunk noise every time you shut the door.

I managed to re-use a lot of mine so might be worth checking before you buy a whole load of them you might not need........... 2011 Autobiography Santorini Black

You get them from the dealer, they are not expensive, I got a bag of them and it was under €2

You could try TLO (The Large One) from the D3 site he does mail order parts Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Thanks chaps. Your advice and experience much appreciated.
Just as an aside - bought my RRS a week ago not from a main LR dealer - then took it in to the main dealer for a rear camera and a starting issue to be done under warranty (just the first start of the day when it keeps giving me gearbox fault messages, switch off, switch on and fault message gone) to have my lovely new car totally 'dissed' by the service department staff - 'that's been painted, that's not standard, HSE never done like that etc etc - how rude!
Best regards now - RRS Silver 59 HSE 3.0
replaced - RRS Stornaway 07 HSE 2.7
replaced - Jag 57 XJ 2.7
replaced - Jag 04 XJ 3.5
replaced - Jag X XJ 4.0 supercharged
