Hi,

Had a search and could not find exaclty my issue. When I put my son in a forward facing car seat I often get the issue where the belt locks and then I have to take the belt out of the car seat and completely return it before I can extend it again. ie I can feed it back but once it has gone in it won't come back out (techincal I know ) I have never left him like this and driven off so another question is does it release itself after a period of time?? I saw a couple of threads talk about ratcheting - is this what this is as I wasn't sure

Is this by design or am I doing something wrong??? Obviously if it is a problem then I wil get it sorted asap as I want to make sure he is safe. It's also a pain as it always happens when I am in a rush and don't have the time to take the seatbelt out of the car seat, return the seatbelt fully then reattach to the car seat and buckle up.....
