Sitting quietly in my Sport listening to the sound of nothing as I trundle out of the driveway towards the vineyards on a sunny autumn morning I was rudely interrupted by a loud vibration and grumble coming from under the car which pops in for a while then sods off and then drops in again unannounced to remind that something's rotten in the state of Land Rover.

If your compressor case is full of mud it would be worth checking your intercooler. Two ways to clean it:

Seems like nothing has changed from the Discovery II - the SLS compressor also fills up with mud and dies a horrible death. 1999 Discovery II V8 auto |
