Driving along the M25 in Essex near the junction of the M11 about 3pm in the road work section when the traffic in my lane slowed to almost a standstill I was about to change lanes when the lorry in front of me moved across in to the right hand lane. Slap bang in front of me was a black RRS with no rear off side tyre stranded in the slow lane due to the road works and no hard shoulder! Poor guy was standing next to it on the phone I was just about to pull over and offer to lend a hand when a Police 4X4 came up behind me lights flashing so I continued on my journey! God knows what had happened as we were in a 50mph limit? Couldn’t see any remains of the tyre at all there was just the rim left on his car. I expect there were a few choice words being said!!! Like what the happend there?? And where the is my rear tyre?? Just a few suggestions to what he was thinking! Cheers Laurence.
