Tail gate lock failure

fitted new towbar (mulitheight type) and wiring electrics yesterday and since i reconnected the battery the tailgate wont open.
it is not fully closed either as i didnt put the weather seal strip back on correctly.
dont see any specific fuse for the tailgate lock.
is there something else ? manual entry?

i have tried the trick entry press the unlock button on the dash etc and try and open the door but there is no unlock "noise" coming from the lock as i'd expect.

its like the power is not getting to the lock, so i suspected fuse but doesnt seem to be one.
Fuse 65 is for tailgate power stricker but that fuse is unused

i have unbolted the stricker from the body to get the door open so i can work in day light.

help appeciated.

i'm fitting side steps today but i'm online waiting reponse! Question Exclamation Idea

fixed itself Shocked

i can only put it down to disconnecting the battery with the tailgate open.
then closing the tailgate before re-connecting the battery.

once the car was running for about 10 minutes while i did a few jobs it worked.
mystery.
must be one of those "things" that happen after battery disconnected.
wierd Rolling Eyes
