AUTOLOGIC RE-MAP

Had the car to the garage today as it,s been going into limp mode 2or3 times a day.
It,s came up with EGR and MAP Sensor faults,I phoned the dealer{Pentland Land Rover}
and ordered the parts how about £103 & £109 for the EGRs althuogh the sensor was a bit
pricey at £140 for something the size of a 10p.Anyway the reason for the post is the garage
is an official Autologic Agent,I was reading there brochure and feel my 2.7 HSE would benefit
from there Map as I tow a twin axle caravan and the improved torque would be a huge plus
and of coarse the extra 49bhp I could put to good use Thumbs Up.Has anyone got any
feedback on this product.
Cheers Tommy

Have read lots of good things about this product, but as the Autologic guy is in Central Scotland
it would suit better as l am only a short drive away.

Sorry Ady I cant seem to find any figures for this product apart from the price.
The Autologic figures are 240bhp with 405lbs torque at a cost installed £350
sounds good to me.I also googled them and they seem a large and well respected
company who sell millions of pounds worth of diagnostic gear to the motor trade so I would
think that there products would have been well tested and proven before being put on
general sale.
Cheers Tommy

Loads on remaps D3side, reasonably common over there. Surprised so few of you peeps have had it done, makes onehellova difference.

Re MAP sensor wade through http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic64159.html MAP sensors seem to be causing quite a bit of grief but have stayed under the radar.
