Great to have KeilTDV8 and his family join in today, I really hope you enjoyed the run out and will be along for some of the summer days out. And what a cracking day to be going off into the hills in your Landie or Rangie............... very pleasant up on the tops, no midges but still a chill in the air out of the sun and still snow on the higher mountains too

No it won't, I'll make sure - I used to be a Freelander owner many years ago they are excellent offroad if you know how to drive them within their capablities. Anyway I still have my 90 to go serious places. There is nothing on any of the SGRC runs that would present a problem to an Evoque or a Freelander - most of today's roads you could have taken a family car over if you were careful and the quality of the surface on the trails was for the most part better than some of the metalled roads round here........ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I agree - we had a Freelander 2 before the RRS and if the Evoque has the same drive train etc you'll be just fine FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Evoque has about 5mm less ground clearance than a Freelander2 - add a set of MTRs and that will give it another 25mm or so height................. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
