juddering up hills???

hi

anyone any ideas ?? when going up a hill my car judders, shakes, Sad Sad when i ease off the accelerator it dies down but as soon as i put the accelerator down again it judders, its a 2.7 auto diesal. i know autos dont have a clutch like a manual car but they do have a type of clutch or torque converter, anyone have any ideas and roughly how much it would cost to do?

It is the torque converter slipping and gripping.

Most dealers will want to fix your gearbox and charge accordingly but the problem remains or is only fixed temporarily due to fresh fluid in the system.

yeah thought it may be something like that.. i have looked at older post on here and looks like a lot of people recomend that the auto gearbox oil needs to be flushed out twice and renewed. dont know whether this was a long term fix, anyone???

anyone know the cost of torque converter if thats the problem, anyone had the gearbox oil flushed renewed if
so did it work ? and what sort of cost? you can send me pm if dont want to post on here thanks
