no - u get the plates No. as long as u are in possesion of the car then u give them back.

but u have every 3 years lik a car control check blah blah..

I presume that's the same as our MOT test/certificate.

Every car that reaches 3 years old has to have an annual check for emissions, tyres, suspension, brakes etc. to make sure it is still roadworthy. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award
