I bought one of the ebay CDs, downloaded a pdf password remover and then copied the manual on to my HD. Removing the password allows you to search, print, copy etc. with ease. I use Foxit Reader rather than Acrobat. Total cost was little more than a pint of beer.

I really don't understand why all of the "RRS enthusiasts" on this forum don't have a copy of the workshop manual already. Too busy polishing to be able to read up on things I guess...  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Yeah I can just print off whatever page I want with osx...it's a good read and handy shame it hasn't got the part numbers on it though

Cheers roscoe - managed to see the first few pages but it was really really slow loading up. Looked to be good quality though so I'll just order one off eBay - can put a copy on my old iPad and use that as my 21st century workshop manual

No probs ..yeah Zaphod it's handy to have on the iPad and lets you know if any special tools are required plus all torque values
