Drivers Seat base squaking and creaking like a brass bed

its trivial I know but my 2009 tdv8 has started making creaking/squeaking noises from the drivers seat base.
its irritating as it does it goin round corners as your weight shifts and it sounds like a whorehouse over rough terrain Rolling with laughter but still very irritating.
Anyone know if this is a common 'they all do that sir' type of fault , an easy fix perhaps? its still under warranty so I'll point it out at the next service due next month but if its easy to fix then I'd rather get it sorted now rather than drive myself demented listening to it

strangely moving the seat through the full range of movement and back to approximately the same position and the creaking stopped.
hasnt come back either ...very strange
