Snow Foaming - do I need to use it?

I've heard some of you guys talking about snow foam and how good it is.

Having read up on this it seems to be only for people with black cars??

My RRs is grey is it worth me using it will I get any benifits?? Cheers Laurence.

I've used it on my first Sport (which was Silver) and my last Sport which was Red and worked wonders on each of them. It's not just for black cars, all it does is loosens the dirt. Colour doesn't come into the equation. I think it's just for ease of cleaning and getting in nukes and cranny's Thumbs Up

Living where I do mine gets covered very quickly in a layer of fine millstone grit which is like carborundum, using snowfoam takes all this loose layer off before i use a mit so lessens the risk of scratches.
Not sure it has any affect on normal road grime though. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I took the FFRR into the local guys yesterday as I drove through a lots of potholes that had freshly been filled with a gravel and tar mix that has softened in the sunshine and I had tar spots all down both sides. They used their special Autoglym mix in a hot/ steam wash with snow foam and then left it for 5 minutes to do it's work. Result, no more tar, very impressed and even better it didn't cost any extra over the usual £5 for a normal wash. This is where I now regret having ordered a white car for my next one......... at least you could hardly see the tar on a Stornoway Gray car - on a Fuji White it's going to be a whole load worse 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yup Tim, I get lots of tar spots. But product called Tardis takes care of it but it takes off any wax on there too...

First time I bought a pressure washer I used the provided mixing lance to snow foam the car. Result was very poor and found out that all I was doing was spraying the car with soapy water. Bought a proper snow foam lance and the result was an eye opener. The proper snow foam lance aerates the foam and covers the car in clinging foam which when washed off left very little dirt to remove with a wash.

Best thing apart from removing most of the dirt is it is fun to use, so encourages more frequent car washing.
