On a related note, does anyone know how to decompile/recompile the DVD to remove the Censored irritating safety warning screen that loads every time the nav is activated?

It there also an easy way of getting entry on the move?

Hi Smurf

I have a 2005 55 HSE, upgraded to a 2008 disk last year (£10 off ebay - original disk). As you rightly say, the reader is under the passenger seat. Lift front seat to highest position and move forwards as much as possible to access the drive. Move the lock switch (there to prevent the disk accidentally ejecting), eject old disk, insert new disk, re-engage lock, et voila!

Job Done

The black plastic panel at the front base of the passenger seat also just pulls off (held on by 4 grips) if you do not fancy grabbling from the rear Mr. Green RRS gone

Scotland 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Orkney Grey

I upgraded from 2007 disk to a 2009/2010 and to be honest didnt see an improvement in availalble locations, current road layouts and issues with roads missing that are 20 years old!! With the poor logic used to drive the route direction; next time its no to a factory installed satnav - TomTom at less than £200 is far better. Now - MY11 RRS Autobiography TDV6, Orkney gray, tints, steps, daylight running lamps and allllll the toys!!!

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

I've picked up the 2010 disc from ebay. As a total newbie to the model and the maker, why won't the 3 disc nav set up from my mothers freelander work on my '07 HSE?

Hello by the way Smile

i set the seat right forward and high as possible and fumbled about and installed disc that way -
when i pulled the front cover off it snapped 2 of the clips Sad

Having come from a FL2 myself, the FL2's sat nav system is way better than the RRS (mine '56).

Wonder if you could transplant the Fl2's system into the RRS ?
