Having changed all my company vehicles recently (Mine is the last to arrive even though ordered first - sod's law ), I have a 3 year old VW golf estate I can't seem to shift because it has done 150,000 miles!!

It is in great condition, mostly motorway miles, full VW history and runs great.....

cost £18K from memory and no interest at under £5,000!

Seems mileage always scares people off but in modern cars I don't see it as a major issue.....

might have to use WBAC.COM

At that price I would just give it to a worthy relative , you will end up paying over a grand in corporation tax , assuming it has been written down to zero value! I've done that with a few of my company cars , as I would rather see them go to a good home than inland revenue take a chunk out of it !!

I think that high mileage cars do limit the saleability and it is unfounded with modern vehicles, but there is always a market for any car at the right price, I have just sold a Disco 3 with over 160000 miles on the clock for a very good price, it took a while but it went in the end. some of my Previous cars

Is it strange this is his one and only post? I have had some real time wasters and scam artists on the phone!

I keep getting people interested in the car who want it......then a day later I get an email that there is some family emergency/other circumstance that means they cannot get to me, can I go to them?

Is this some sort of scam where they bash me over the head when I get there or are they just being lazy?

Looks okay car, though the photos make it look dull and uninspiring, maybe if you got it polished and tyres glossed it will make it more appealing and looked after

Yeah cheers Nick, thought it wouldn't be an issue to sell.......I have had it valeted since photos so may well re-take photos, plenty of interest but no one wants to commit....

Why phone up, ask a load of questions (all of which i give a positive answer to) and then say ok thanks and not come and see it?

Glasgow ain't too bad. Arrange to meet him in the Raploch Estate (Gowanhill Gardens as it's more formerly known), then don't turn up. I don't think he'd ask again.
